The speedway community has grown in New Zealand from it’s inception 1928. It now has a dedicated track at the Western Springs Stadium in Auckland. Speedway events now boast a total weekly attendance of 1,600 people. To race in Speedway events, one has to be approved at one of the 23 tracks in New Zealand.
